The AMH series Counterflow Cooler is advanced equipment designed for efficient pellet cooling and cake after the pelleting process. This system ensures the optimal product temperature for storage and transport, while simultaneously improving pellet quality and durability.

Operating Principle

Counterflow Cooling Process

Filling

Hot pellets (70–90°C) enter the hopper through the inlet rotary valve with airlock.

Distribution

The distributor spreads pellets evenly across the entire hopper area.

Counterflow Cooling

Cold air enters from below, moving upward through the pellet bed while pellets fall downward.

Process Control

Level and temperature sensors continuously monitor and control the cooling process.

Discharge

The driven grid discharges cooled pellets in a controlled manner through the outlet.

Discharge

Cooled pellets (ambient + 3–5°C) ready for packaging or storage.
